Heidi Borsch is a Los Angeles native with North Dakota roots who is passionate about helping others through yoga, Reiki, and other healing modalities. She has been practicing yoga for over 30 years, and in 2011, she decided to turn her love for yoga into a career after being laid off from her sales job. Heidi completed her RYT 200 training at True Nature School of Yoga in 2012 and went on to earn her ERYT-200/RYT-500 designation after completing a 300-hour program through the Soul of Yoga in 2014.
In addition to her yoga training, Heidi is also a certified MELT instructor and Reiki Master. She founded Be Well Therapy Inc. with Mary Baker in 2014 to help the cancer community heal after often a devastating diagnosis of cancer. The duo also created a 55-hour Yoga Alliance accredited Yoga for Cancer Recovery teaching program, graduating 28 certified teachers in their first year in 2017. Heidi teaches a weekly Zoom Be Well Cancer Recovery class every Sunday at 3:30 p.m. Heidi's personal experience with cancer inspired her to earn a specialized 100-hour “Yoga of the Heart” cardiac and cancer certification to help those living with cancer (and heart disease) and their caregivers. She is also one of only a handful of instructors nationwide to be certified in MELT Strength, a combination of neuromuscular repatterning and strengthening techniques to repair the weak links that damage joints and prevent the body’s ability to function pain-free. In her free time, Heidi enjoys walking to the beach, painting rocks, stand-up paddleboarding, and cultivating her whimsical garden. Heidi's passion for helping others shines through in all aspects of her life, from her yoga classes to her work with cancer patients and her dedication to healing through Reiki. |
